M.C. United and the W.C. Arsenal Soccer Club is hosting an Associate Referee Clinic Saturday March 23, 2008. This Clinic will be held at Thomas Jefferson School Located at 4100 S. Lindbergh Sunset Hills Mo 63126. The class will Start at 9:30am and run until approximately 2:00pm.

What is an associate referee? They are more commonly known to us as the “linesman”. This Course is being held to help fill the shortage of referees in the St. Louis area. Clubs that host their own events such as tournaments and leagues find a great value in having their own pool of refs to choose from.

Why should you do this??? As a parent or player it gives you a different perspective on the game, it is also a way to make some good money being a part of the game we all love.

The cost for the course is $40 and will be run by Shane Butler president of the Eastern District Referee association.

We hope to see as many players, managers, and parents in attendance. All payments to this course need to be made payable to M.R.D.P (Missouri Referee Development Program) All materials will be provided for testing. Those attending should dress in sweats or other active wear as a large portion of this course will be outside.
