John Sullivan of the Metro Strikers Soccer Club informs us that John Hilkenkamp passed away last Saturday morning in an automobile accident. John Hilkenkamp and his team were in Kansas City for a soccer tournament and were traveling home, when a car crossed the median and hit John's car head on. Please keep John and his family, as well as the rest of their Metro Strikers U14-Boys teams, in your prayers to help deal with this tragedy.
Tomorrow at noon at the SLYSA complex all games will observe a moment of silence in honor of John Hilkenkamp.
