As you may know, there has been some recent controversy over small sided games. As in the past SLYSA will offer what its members want. Specifically, SLYSA will offer the following, for both genders, in the fall.

As in the past:
8v8 leagues for U8, U9, U10, U11 and U12.
11v11 leagues for U11 and U12.

Beginning this fall, SLYSA will also offer:
4v4 leagues for U8.
6v6 leagues for U9 and U10.

A few caveats:
- The 4v4 leagues will have their own fields.
- The 6v6 leagues will use the same fields and goals as the 8v8 leagues.
- As agreed at the AGM last month, beginning this fall the playing rules will be changed so that there will be no offside for U8 and U9 games to keep the fees low.
- We are working on playing rules for 4v4 and 6v6.
